A Love for Lizzie by Tracey J. Lyons (Review)

My Review

I've already read a historical novel by Tracey and enjoyed it immensely so I was looking forward to reading her first venture for Love Inspired with an Amish book. What a treat this venture is and there is also a delicious cookie recipe to try at the back of the book as well. just love recipes in books I read to try. What fun! While there were some inaccuracies portrayed in the Amish lifestyle it did not take away from my enjoyment of the book. Hopefully the author will do more research on the Amish before she writes another. So many people read Amish books because they believe when the see the Amish they have the perfect peaceful lifestyle. Not so they have the same troubles and insecurities as we do. Lizzie and Paul have known each other since childhood but a tragedy in their pasts has kept them from becoming more than friends. Can secrets be told and the mercy of forgiveness come for this young couple? Very enjoyable book. Pub Date 18 Jun 2019

I was given a complimentary copy of this book. Thank you. All opinions expressed are my own.
