My Review
This is me after reading The Cosy Seaside Chocolate Shop :)) This was a pure delight to read. This and the first book in the series are my favorite chic-lit books ever. Reading this will put you in a happy place. The perfect beach and Summer holiday read. What could be better than reading about a fun yummy, scrummy chocolate shop,an adorable small, well behaved dog and a gentlemanly, handsome man. I loved reading about Emma's chocolate shop in the first book and this is the perfect continuation of that book. Same delightful town folks, gorgeous town by the sea, friendly willing to lend a hand neighbors and the best part the chocolate in the shop. Em has more flavors than ever and with hosting parties at her shop and an outdoor patio and courtyard to serve customers what could possibly go wrong? Sadly it does go wrong, from a misunderstanding with her boyfriend who thought he had a forever with her to the slimy landlord who wants to sell off the shop she can't afford to buy. Devastated is putting it mildly with how she feels. It's not just her whole life being disrupted since she lives above the chocolate shop and doesn't know how she'll find a new shop and home but to go through this uncertainty with a fresh breakup is pretty rough. I loved how her friends all rallied around her in her time of need. Is that it for her chocolate shop and her love life? I suggest you read this feel good book and find out. Pub Date 01 Jun 2018 I received a copy of this book from Harper Impulse and Killer Reads through NetGalley.
